Our Mission
We want to make it easy for families to keep school-aged children’s kit - from uniforms to sportswear and outerwear - in circulation for longer.
Re:Kit offers Horsham families a simple way to pass on outgrown items and shop for affordable, high-quality pre-loved kit, all year round.
Our local model creates one central hub for buying and donating. The result: less waste, lower costs, and stronger community connections. By keeping kit in circulation locally, we cut carbon emissions, save families time and money, and reduce the number of quality items ending up in landfill.
As a not-for-profit social enterprise, serving the Horsham community is at the heart of what we do. We work with local schools and community hubs to provide a service that helps families, supports schools, and protects our planet.
Zero-Waste
Our goal is to keep valuable, wearable items in use. For any donated item that can't be repaired or reworn, we look to give the fabric another life, but in different ways:
Re-Purpose: We partner with trusted local crafters to give items a new life.
Re-Cycle: We work with responsible UK-based textile recycling partners to ensure fibres are correctly processed, transparently.
